Miles & Calls · Bring the Irons
Log a Run
For calls where you took your POV to the scene. Punch in the odometer before you pull out and after you get home — the app does the math and keeps the record the IRS wants.
Quick Log — Saved Places
Tap a place to log a run there. Miles fill in automatically — round trip by default.

Saved Places
Store the one-way distance from home. Station 8 = 7 mi, Station 6 = 4 mi, and so on. A round trip doubles it automatically.
Home Base
The IRS wants a start and end location for each trip. This fills in the start automatically. It never leaves your phone.

Class F driver training
Track the 250 apparatus miles for an OCFR Class F license. Turn this on only while you're in driver training.
Driver Training — 250 Miles0%
Requirements
Night miles count toward the total as well — the night figure is a minimum within that bucket, not an extra requirement on top.
Log a Training Drive
Record it in the truck while the trainer is still with you — their name has to be on the sheet, and reconstructing it later is how people end up re-driving miles.
Training Log
Practicals0 / 18
Tap each one your evaluator checks you off on. This records the date so you know what's left — the signed paper sheet is still the official record.
Paperwork for the Chief
The trainer has to sign for each drive, so print the needs-signatures sheet after a session and get it signed while they're still there. Tick each drive as signed in the app. The full log is the complete 250-mile record for the Chief — same form, with Cumulative Mileage already calculated.
Your Details
All 250 miles must be logged before your Class F permit expires.

Log a Run

0.0 mi
Round trip
Doubles the one-way distance. Turn off if you didn't drive home.
Be specific enough to stand on its own a year from now — "Hog Mountain Rd & Hwy 316" beats "a call."
Reimbursed by department
If OCFR paid you for these miles, they are not deductible. Logged, but excluded from the tax total.

Add a Place

Check it on your odometer once, then never think about it again.

Practical

Recorded for your own records. The evaluator still signs the printed sheet — this doesn't replace their signature.

Training Drive

0.0 mi
The two pumper requirements are separate — 70 mi from your own station, 50 mi from any station. Miles logged against one don't count for the other.
Required on the form — they sign each block. Must have 3+ years of Oconee County fire truck experience.
Night driving
Each apparatus has a night-mile minimum inside its total.
Trainer has signed for this drive
Tick it once they've signed the printed block. Unsigned drives are what the "needs signatures" print gives you.

The code proves the address is yours, so nobody else can open your log by guessing your email.
